William Parks, a 1968 graduate of Waycross High School, received an Associate Degree in Business Administration from South Georgia College in Douglas, Georgia, in 1970, and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting, from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1972. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Woodrow Wilson College of Law in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1975.
William Parks is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Georgia, The United States Tax Court, and the Supreme Court of the United States of America.
William Parks, in addition to being an attorney, is also a certified public accountant licensed to practice public accounting by the Georgia State Board of Accountancy. His prior work experience includes being a supervisor with Laventhol and Horwath, an international public accounting firm, serving as a senior consultant to Nabisco, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturing company, and as an instructor of accounting and law at Massey Business College, Oglethorpe University and John Marshall Law School.
